Pearsons has been honoured with a string of awards
Pearsons has been honoured with a string of awards for its high impact, creative advertising for clients and are celebrating after clinching the Best Recruitment Advert and Employer Brand at the Yorkshire's Finest Recruitment Awards and was also highly commended in the Best Recruitment Advertising Campaign category.
The awards, held at the Hilton hotel in Leeds, recognise Pearsons' reputation for being at the forefront of integrated employee communications.
The Employer Brand award was won for helping Arla Foods, one of Europe's largest dairies, with its eye-catching campaign to attract talented graduates, entitled Get More Wow From The Cow. Judges praised the company for "developing a creative, engaging and well executed employer brand that shows a positive employee experience."
As part of its work with Arla, Pearsons has created a new recruitment website which enables the uploading of CVs. It includes the personal accounts of staff saying what it is like working at Arla as well as videos for Arla House and Stourton dairy so that job seekers can see where they could be working for themselves.
In line with the website, a new style job advertisement has been designed as part of the strategy to raise Arla's profile as a local and national employer.
The award for best advertisement was won by Pearsons for its striking work with CPP, based in York. Meanwhile, the commendation for the best campaign was awarded for the 'Strictly Boardroom' advertising created for The Appointments Commission, featuring a colourful Strictly Ballroom-type theme advertising for non-executive directors.
Jo Fletcher-Lee, Pearsons' agency director in Leeds, said: "It demonstrates our ability to produce outstanding, creative advertising and branding for private sector, blue chip organisations as well as public sector clients".
"Receiving not just one, but two awards and a commendation in a third category is a wonderful honour."
