Position: ASP.NET Developer

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious ASP.NET developer to join our dynamic digital development team at Pearsons.

We are a large digital agency in Northern England and our team are expanding to accommodate new ventures in our core business.

As part of this expansion you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects where you can get involved in everything from creating enhancements to developing new products including working on ASP.Net 3.5 and LINQ.

This role is suited to a person with one years's experience or to an ambitious graduate who can demonstrate their ability through personal projects.

The role will use ASP.Net with VB.Net, however we will accept applications if you have experience of C# and are willing to cross train.

Our sites are powered by SQL Server and training can be given providing you have good database skills.

Experience of XML, accessibility issues and eGovernment standards would be advantageous. You must have excellent communication and team working skills and have a real passion for the industry and a desire to continually learn.
